Amy Saxton has been the Distance Learning Librarian at Mookini Library (serving both UH Hilo and Hawaiʻi Community College) since 2006. In addition to helping staff the reference desk, performing collection development for various subject areas, and teaching academic research skills to both undergraduates and graduate students, she ensures that comparable library services and resources are available to students and faculty who are learning and teaching remotely.
