Charlene Arthur was born and raised in the Federated States of Micronesia (Pohnpei) where she went to school for most of her general education, ending at the College of Micronesia - National Campus. Charlene left Pohnpei to continue her education at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa where she received her undergraduate degree in English. She is currently a graduate student in the Library and Information Science Program at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She plans to graduate in Fall 2016.
