The board of the Hawaiian-Pacific Chapter of the Special Libraries Association will share their efforts to collaborate with other organizations to extend their outreach into the community, increase public awareness of the critical role libraries play in communities, and sponsor events focused on professional development. From a video project that interviewed experts in the field to Community Libraries Day and career development events, learn what worked and what they would have done differently. Outreach is a huge issue for many organizations and institutions and this is an opportunity to talk story, exchange creative ideas and increase collaboration.
